Rova Web LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Hooper AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address and password (if signing up with email)
• Display name and profile photo (if signing in with Google or Apple)

Game Data

We store basketball game statistics, team rosters, and team presets that you create within the App. This data is associated with your account and synced across your devices.

Voice Data

When you use the AI voice command feature, your voice is processed in real-time using on-device speech recognition (Apple Speech Framework). The resulting text transcript is sent to our server for interpretation. We do not store audio recordings or voice data. Transcripts are processed and discarded immediately.

Device Information

For users who have not created an account, we generate a random device identifier stored locally on your device to track free usage limits. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Hooper AI Premium, your subscription is managed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's features, including AI-powered voice stat tracking
• To sync your game data across devices
• To manage your account and subscription status
• To enforce free usage limits for non-subscribed users
• To improve the App's functionality and user experience

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database storage, and cloud functions. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google Gemini AI — Processes voice command transcripts to interpret basketball statistics. Transcripts are sent to Google's servers for processing and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — Manages subscription status and in-app purchases. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Apple Speech Framework — On-device speech recognition for converting voice to text

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account and game data are stored securely using Google Firebase with access restricted to your authenticated account. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Game data is retained as long as your account is active or until you delete it
• Voice transcripts are processed in real-time and not retained
• Device identifiers for anonymous users are deleted when you create an account

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the App
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
• Export your game data using the App's CSV export feature
• Cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
